I rescued a halfling by the name of Tofus Jepner from the Pens of Riliss. After showing him a few illusions he told me about a bard he traveled with that had stories of great illusionists. He said I should seek out Tabbin Juniper if I wanted to hear about them.
If I want to find out more about the illusionist stories that Tofus was talking about I should seek out the traveling bard Tabbin Juniper. Tofus said Tabbin was last seen heading west back to the docks.
I should find Tabbin Juniper and ask him about the illusionist stories and songs he knows.
If I want to hear Tabbin's songs and stories I'll need to recover his equipment from a dreary castle.
I need to recover Tabbin's Drum.
I need to recover Tabbin's Mandolin.
I need to recover Tabbin's Performance Mask.
Now that I have Tabbin Juniper's equipment I should return it to him so that he can sing me the songs about the illusionists and their illusions.
I should return Tabbin Juniper's equipment to him. (in Kylong Plains)
I suppose if I want to learn the story of this "Maiden of Masks" I need to collect the missing pages of the book Tabbin gave me.
The IOU note on the one page I have says "Note to self: pay tab at the fish sticks eatery or don't go back at all."
The note on page 2 says "Note to self: molotov cocktail is not a drink. Make sure to pay this tab because it'll probably come back to haunt me."
The note on page 3 says "Note to self: 'come sail below' is a very catchy song. Be sure to pay this tab so that I can come back and steal more lyrics."
The note on page 4 says "Note to self: ledges can become quite tricky when inebriated. Be sure to pay tab in order to further appreciate the view."
The note on page 5 says "Note to self: very drunk ogres can be talked into picking up the tab if you give them a 'magic' IOU note. Be sure to pay this one back before he sobers up."
The note on page 6 says "Note to self: the stouts' stout is stout! Be sure to pay off this tab next time I come across that hole-in-the-wall."
The note on page 7 says "Note to self: barrashar are treated quite well, until they discover your coin purse is empty and they have to pick up the tab."
The note on page 8 says "Note to self: that tavern made a great stop before heading up to the Overrealm."
The note on page 9 says "Note to self: with a bit of sweet talking, dancing girls will take IOUs as tips too!"
The note on page 10 says "Note to self: IOUs work! I guess it's hard to complain when I leave a note and scram. Be sure to pay tab at Rysis's pyramid bar, I don't want to make a habit of leaving IOUs."
Now that I have all the "Maiden of Masks" pages I should get them re-bound.
Now that I got the "Maiden of Masks" book re-bound I should stop by and share the tale with Tibby Joopin in Teren's Grasp.
I should show Tibby Joopin the newly bound "Maiden of Masks" book. (in Kylong Plains)
Tibby Joopin has challenged me to find and give her six rare masks. If I'm able to do so she'll give me as a reward a wand that was said to belong to the Maiden of Masks.
Tibby wants a mask "that is very old and magical, like so old it was around before the gods disappeared."
Tibby wants "a performing arts mask, the kind that is used in dramatic plays."
Tibby wants "a primitive ritual mask worn by someone to perform a ceremony."
Tibby wants "a mask that is covered in tropical feathers."
Tibby wants "a mask that is made out of skin."
Tibby wants "a mask worn by the Maiden herself."
I have completed Tibby's Mask Challenge! I should speak with her to claim my reward.
I need to speak to Tibby and get my Mask Challenge reward! (in Kylong Plains)
