Immeasurable Menagerie Portal Sampling

Miragul informed me that his Immeasurable Menagerie utilizes portals to travel between an infinite number of duplications of habitats that have been pulled from time and space. He assured me that while the portals are safe there is a "non-zero" percent chance that taking a portal could result in being hurdled into an endless void. Miragul is attempting to make the portals safer to traverse, but he needs energy samples collected from portals and directed me to collect them for him.

I was directed to take energy samples from open portals throughout the menagerie by walking through them. I really hope that I am not sent into an endless void in the process.
