November 14, 2024 -- EQ2U is ready to be updated for the Scars of Destruction expansion. This year, I am asking you to help me add Quests to EQ2U. See the Quest Journal pages for more information!
Tumao Ventur is not only patriarch of the Ventur clan, but also its armorer. He said that his grandson Gai Ge is destined to be the next armorer, but is resisting the call of the forge for the lure of becoming a monk. I've offered to help convince Gai Ge that being an armorer is every bit as honorable as being a monk.
Shareable (Complete)
I'll need to speak with Gai Ge Ventur, Tumao Ventur's grandson, and convince him to learn armor crafting.
Gai Ge Ventur will likely be close to the House of Ventur. (in The Village of Shin)
I will need to gather some basic components together so that I can show Gai Ge Ventur what fun it is to be an armorer. I'm sure to find all that I need nearby.
I'll gather some iron ore to teach Gai Ge the smelting process. (in The Village of Shin)
With some copper ore, I can show Gai Ge how easy it is to refine a metal from any surrounding stone. (in The Village of Shin)
Though not as common as iron or copper, plumbum is a good example of a material that can combine easily with something like copper to create a different material. (in The Village of Shin)
Now I'll take my stash of teaching materials back to Gai Ge and show him how much fun it is to be an armorer. (in The Village of Shin)
Gai Ge Ventur knows his destiny, but is rather convincing in his desire to become a monk rather than simply go along with what his family believes he should become.
Tumao Ventur will not be pleased with the results of my "teaching" Gai Ge about crafting armor, but I believe that he will understand. (in The Village of Shin)
Quest Rewards above are only the guaranteed XP, faction, and coin rewarded for this quest. Status points and rewards limited by class, race, alignment, etc. are unavailable.
