I have seen the glaufaye, and come to realize their suffering is due to a preservation spell that has kept them alive, and outside of the cycle of life. Thaneni, the elven ghost I found wandering near Zou'Lidelas, has given me his arcane staff, which he believes is a threat to the spell they weary of.

As difficult as it may be, I must directly attack a glaufaye with Thaneni's arcane staff, in an effort to break the oppressive spell.

I am to enter the weave of the ancient preservation spell, and destroy the spell from the inside.

I should return to Arideva's hut in Zou'Lidelas. Hopefully, she has been released from the preservation spell, now that it has been broken.
