How to become a EQ2U Scholar (Patreon)
December 3, 2024 -- Census is back after a 3 day outage and characters are once again exporting. Please note if your EQ2 character used the new Petamorph Key Ring feature, it will FAIL to export to Census or EQ2U. Avoid using this feature until a fix is available!!
As a drastic measure, if you are willing to irrevocably destroy any petamorph wands you have stored in the Petamorph Key Ring, you can type /delete_keyring_item 0 1234567890 where 1234567890 is the ItemID of the stored petamorph.
Developers are aware of this issue, but you can always post your respectful feedback in the
Census isn't updating for some toons
thread.
If YOU want to help add Scars of Destruction Quests to EQ2U, please visit your Active Quest Journal and find further instructions there!
You can help support continued development by becoming an EQ2U Scholar (Patreon). Mercenaries are NOW AVAILABLE for EQ2U Scholars (Patreon supporters). Already a subscriber? Add your Patreon e-mail address.

After much testing, the Prophet of Bertoxxulous has divined a particularly interesting property of the Sarnak blood - it has the potential ability to resist the Green Mist. Much testing will be required on races affected by the Green Mist, however. Zek has a particularly large portion of orcs that could be affected, yet are strong enough that they would be able to resist the effect if the decaying mist isn't significant enough to be useful. I've also been tasked to test a potential vaccine for the decaying mist so that it might shield the followers of Bertoxxulous when they put their decaying mist into action.
Shareable (Complete)
Hrath has given me a vial containing a prototype of the decaying mist he has concocted and instructed me to spray several Deathfist Orcs from the Orcish Wastes with the concoction to test its lethality. In order to get close enough to the orcs without raising suspicion, Hrath also gave me an illusion which should help significantly.
I need to test the miasma on several orcish test subjects. (in Zek, the Orcish Wastes)
Now I must first inject a few orcish test subjects with the potential vaccine and then try administering the decaying mist prototype to see if the orc has become immune to Hrath's potion.

The potential vaccine has proved to be ineffective on the orcs as they are still succumbing to the decaying mist. I need to report my findings to Hrath using the Gem of the Simulacre.
I need to use the Gem of the Simulacre to summon Hrath's projection. (in Zek, the Orcish Wastes)
Hrath has suggested that I track down a Green Hood Herbalist in the Orcish Wastes. They might have the efflorescent serum I need to create a different type of antidote.
I need to procure some efflorescent serum. (in Zek, the Orcish Wastes)
I need to examine the serum and combine it with the antidote. (in Zek, the Orcish Wastes)
I need to inject a test subject with the new vaccine and then test its effectiveness on the decaying mist.
I need to test this new vaccine on a Deathfist orc. (in Zek, the Orcish Wastes)
I need to use the last remaining dose of decaying mist on the inoculated orc. (in Zek, the Orcish Wastes)
The test is complete. We now have both an effective miasma and vaccine. I need to speak with Hrath Everstill in Timorous Deep immediately.
