Finding Feagon for Felderham

I have offered to find Hamish Felderham's apprentice, Feagon Jornstoff, in the hopes of learning more about what actually happened to the elemental army they raised. It is unknown whether Feagon is still alive or not. I have been advised to search the mines northeast of the Quarry in the Butcherblock Mountains for Feagon or at the very least his remains.
