Some have theorized that the Eternal Prism has become something akin to a phylactery for one of the most powerful necromancers that ever walked Norrath -- none other than Miragul himself. If this is true, then the scholars studying the Prism would like some evidence to study, and see what they can learn about the enigmatic figure himself. I should search within the area known as The Anathema, and see if I can find a piece of Miragul's past that I can return for research.
