EQ2U - Item Details - Chains of Torment III (Expert)

June 19, 2024 -- The new Anashti Sul server on the 2006 "Origins" EQ2 ruleset is now live. Sadly, there are no plans for it to support Census.

Chains of Torment III (Expert)

Roots the necromancer's target in place, preventing them from movement. Any damage received by the target has a chance at breaking the effect. When the root effect expires, the target will run away in fear with a movement penalty for a short duration.

• Applies Chains of Torment on termination. Lasts for 5.0 seconds.

• Slows target by 28.2%.

• Makes target afraid

• 30% chance to dispel when target takes damage

• Resistibility increases against targets higher than level 52.

• Roots target

• 15% chance to dispel when target takes damage

• Epic targets gain an immunity to Root effects of 1 minute and duration is reduced to 6.7 seconds.

• Resistibility increases against targets higher than level 52.
