EQ2U - Item Details - Smoldering Fists IX (Grandmaster)

June 19, 2024 -- The new Anashti Sul server on the 2006 "Origins" EQ2 ruleset is now live. Sadly, there are no plans for it to support Census.

Smoldering Fists IX (Grandmaster)

Increases the bruiser's offensive melee skills and engulfs the bruiser's hands in flames, granting a chance to deal heat damage with every successful melee hit, at the cost of decreased defense skill. This is the bruiser's primary offensive stance.

• Increases Fervor of caster by 25.0.

• Decreases Defense of caster by 34.0.

• Increases Slashing, Piercing, Crushing and Ranged of caster by 90.8.

• The caster may not benefit from any stoneskin, death prevent, or 100% avoidance abilities while under this effect and for 5 seconds after the effect has been removed.

• Increases bleedthrough on target by 30%.

• On a melee hit this spell may cast Engulf on target of attack. Triggers about 2.0 times per minute.

• Inflicts 675 - 1,126 heat damage on target.
